Men's Ministry

GPC Men’s Ministry is all about becoming a Godly man.  Finding your way on the journey and reaching to be a little bit better.  We believe that Godly men are disciples, leaders of their family and leaders in their church and community. 

At GPC we strive to provide opportunities for spiritual growth and growth as an individual.  This is accomplished through bible studies, mentoring opportunities and working with various ministries throughout the church. 

Another important part of our men’s group is relationship building.  In this world of billions of people we often find ourselves alone and without true friendships.  We believe it is important as men to have true deep and lasting friendships and relationships.

Each fall we have a weekend Men’s retreat at Camp Lake Benson located just outside of Dickson, TN.  It’s a great weekend of worship, growth, fun, food and fellowship.   Additionally, guys will get together and go to various Men’s Conferences around the mid-south. 

The first Thursday of each month is Men’s lunch.  This is a time for guys to meet for lunch and talk about the hot topic of the day while building friendships with other men.

The Men’s Department supports the Boy Scout Troop and Cub Scout Pack in the church.  This provides an opportunity for the men to interact with and mentor the boys and young men.  It allows for great father / son time while learning character and leadership, learning about the great outdoors and learning skills they will use for a lifetime.  The scout program meets on Wednesday nights during service.
