Financial Giving

Giving is an integral part of who we are as disciples of Jesus Christ, not only with our finances, but also with our time, energy and talents.  We believe giving should be done with joy and as worship to God.  What greater financial investment could a person make than an investment that is eternal?

At GPC we ask you to give to the work of God in four different areas:  

Tithe  

Giving of your tithe is a Biblically based standard of giving that was established in the Old Testament and is supported in the New Testament.  A “tithe” is ten percent, and the Bible teaches to give tithe of all your increase.

Offering  

Offerings are also mentioned throughout the Bible.  An offering is something given above and beyond the first ten percent (tithe).  In the book of Malachi when the question is asked “Wherein have we robbed thee?,” referring to robbing God, the answer is given “In tithes and offerings.”  So we understand not only the importance of giving of our tithe but also offerings.

ATK  

ATK stands for Advancing the Kingdom and is our capital fundraising arm of the church.  We ask families and individuals to make a monthly commitment to enable our facilities to continue to develop, as God allows us to reach more people with the Good News.

Missions

For many decades GPC has supported missionaries around the world understanding that the world is larger than Goodlettsville.  We give families and individuals the opportunity to pledge an amount they can give monthly to help bless and support missions, both in America and around the globe.  As a church we want to do our part to fulfill the Great Commission.
